On Tuesday July 22 H.E. Bruno Angelet, Ambassador of Belgium,
received the distinguished and influential commentator HU Xijin for
a lunch at the embassy. Mr. HU was previously Chief Editor of the
Global times and remains a prominent Chinese intellectual as of
today. In a pleasantly flowing conversation, the two exchanged
views on, among other subjects, the state of EU-China relations.
Mr. HU impressed Ambassador with his openness and intellectual
versatility.
